Our adoption process ensures that each dog is matched with the right home for their needs. We adopt dogs directly from shelters in Romania and, where possible, through foster care in Scotland. Every adoption includes a home check, an adoption agreement, and ongoing support. We are always here for adopters throughout the dog’s lifetime.
We will never put a healthy, adoptable dog to sleep. Euthanasia is only ever considered in very rare and extreme circumstances, such as untreatable illness, infectious disease, or severe unmanageable aggression. Decisions are always made with compassion, input from veterinary professionals, and only as a last resort.
Foster carers are the heart of our rescue. Our foster policy explains the support we provide, including veterinary care, supplies, and guidance, as well as what we expect from foster families in return. Fostering is vital to helping dogs transition from shelter life to family life, and we work closely with fosters every step of the way.
