At Thistle Paws Rescue, every dog deserves the chance of a loving home. Some of our dogs are already in foster homes here in Scotland, while others are waiting in our trusted partner shelters abroad until they can travel to their forever families.
We share all of our available dogs on our Facebook page & Instagram page, where you’ll find photos, updates, and details about their personalities and needs.

Our Happy Tails - Adopted Dogs
Many of our dogs have come from challenging beginnings. Some may never have lived inside a home, walked on a lead, or experienced consistent love and guidance. Because of this, they might be nervous or unsure at first, and that’s completely normal.
We ask all adopters to approach the settling-in period with patience, kindness, and understanding. With time, gentle guidance, and reassurance, these dogs blossom into the most loyal and loving companions.
Please note that ages and sizes are estimated by shelter vets or volunteers and may not always be exact.
