Who We Are

We are a Scotland-based, foster-led, not-for-profit dog rescue dedicated to helping abandoned and neglected dogs from both Romania and the UK find their next chapter. Built on over six years of experience in the rescue sector, we’ve supported rescue organisations, worked closely with foster carers, carried out home checks, provided welfare guidance, and personally fostered more than 30 dogs. For us, Thistle Paws Rescue is the next step in our journey, created to give dogs safety, stability, and the loving forever homes they truly deserve.

What We Do

Every dog that comes into our care is treated as an individual, with their welfare at the heart of every decision we make. We work to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs from the UK and Romania, giving them the time, care, and support they need to thrive. Our goal is not simply to find homes, but to find the right homes. We carefully match each dog with adopters who can meet their needs and provide a lifetime of love, commitment, and security. From rescue to rehoming, we are dedicated to giving every dog the second chance they deserve.
